Transportation
Once you are at the Doubletree Hotel in San jose, you should not need a car during the meeting period. For any event not within walking distance from the hotel, busing will be provided.

From the San Jose Airport
If you fly into the San Jose International Airport, you can catch the Doubletree shuttle bus to the hotel. Pick up the courtesy phone in the baggage claim area or call +1.408.453.4000 for a courtesy shuttle pickup. Their daily schedule is 5:00-24:00, and you will be picked up about 10 minutes after you call them.
From the San Francisco International Airport
If you decide to fly into San Francisco International Airport (SFO), you can either take public transportation, hire a taxicab (~USD 120 each way), or rent a car (Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty car rental counters are located on the fourth floor of the SFO Rental Car Center) and drive to San Jose.
If you decide to take public transportation, the cost will be ~ USD 7 and the travel time will be 1.5-3 hours total. Go to 511 Transit for directions and schedule times.
